In past retreats, we’ve incorporated movement in nature, to soothe body and soul, with stillness of mind to discover barriers to our personal wellness. You’ll experience guided imagery, guided meditation and in-depth discussions for self-discovery — and my favorite, a burning exercise for freeing yourself from your barriers. It’s glorious to take time to identify our values and goals and create plans for success. Retreats are filled with exercises you can take away and carry with you through everyday life. We dine together, take strolls in nature and discuss mindful eating to achieve optimal health.
I love hosting retreats, because they are times for blissful escape. With the hurried pace of life today, many feel it’s selfish or wrong to indulge in “me” time.
